Pricing

Every price, before you book a call.

LeverOps publishes every price. Work starts with a Workflow Snapshot: $950, one week, one workflow, or $1,500 and two weeks for three. If more is worth doing, the next step is a fixed-price Fix project ($5,000 to $25,000) or, for a company with several tangled problems, a $4,500 Operations Roadmap. Support after a project is $750 or $1,800 a month. Nothing is hourly.

The ladder

Step Price Time What you get Ends with
Free operations review $0 30 minutes A conversation about the work that has become harder as the business grew A plain answer on whether a Snapshot is worth doing
Workflow Snapshot $950, or $1,500 for three workflows 1 week, or 2 for three One workflow followed end to end; a 2 to 3 page memo with the three biggest fixes priced in your numbers. Larger companies usually take the three-workflow size A fixed quote for the top fix, or the Roadmap proposal
Operations Roadmap (optional) $4,500 2 weeks 4 to 6 workflows mapped and scored across the whole company; a ranked roadmap with a dollar value on each item A fixed quote for the top fix
Fix project $5,000 to $25,000, fixed 2 to 10 weeks The fix built in your own accounts, in production, documented, your people trained, the measure in place 30 days of included support, then the Support plan if you want it
Support plan $750 a month month to month What was built, kept running; small changes; a quarterly review of the numbers The next project, when the review finds one
Operations partner $1,800 a month month to month Everything in Support, plus one working day a month on the next item Same
AI Usage Review $2,500 2 weeks Survey, inventory of AI tools and spend, a one-page policy, an approved-tools list, one training session A project quote or the Support plan

How the steps fit together

Each paid step ends with a written proposal for the next one, with the price on it. I sell one step at a time. The free call never ends with a project quote, because a project price without a Snapshot is a guess, and I do not sell guesses.

Most clients go Snapshot, then Fix project. The Roadmap is for companies, usually $3M and up, where the Snapshot shows that more than one workflow is broken and the fixes depend on each other. If the Snapshot shows there is nothing worth paying me for, the memo says so and you owe nothing.

Workflow Snapshot, $950 (three workflows, $1,500)

One workflow, followed from start to finish with the owner and one person who does the work. You get a short memo: the workflow as it runs today, the three biggest fixes with hours and dollars on each in your own numbers, what you can fix without help, and a fixed price for the top one. Invoiced after the working session. If the memo was not worth $950, say so and owe nothing. The full $950 comes off a Roadmap or a Fix project signed within 30 days of the memo. Details on the Snapshot page.

Smaller companies usually take one workflow. Companies above about 25 people usually take three, for $1,500 and two weeks, with the same memo on each and one fixed quote for the fix that returns the most. Either way the fee is credited in full to what follows.

Operations Roadmap, $4,500

Two weeks, plus a 60-minute readout. Up to 5 interviews, one half-day on site, and read-only exports from your CRM and accounting system. I map and score 4 to 6 workflows by annual value, confidence and effort, and hand you a ranked roadmap with a dollar value and a fix type on each item, a short inventory of the AI tools in use, and a fixed quote for the top fix. Half at signing, half at the readout. The roadmap is yours whether or not you hire me for the fix.

It carries a guarantee: If the roadmap does not identify at least 5 times the fee in annualized value, measured under the published Leverage Ledger rules against the baseline you signed off, you do not pay the second half of the fee. This assumes the agreed interviews and data access took place. It covers what the Roadmap finds, not results you realize later.

Founding rate: $3,500 for the first three clients, with conditions below.

Fix projects, $5,000 to $25,000, fixed before work starts

One fixed price per project, quoted in the Snapshot memo or the Roadmap. Three sizes, so this page can answer “how much” without a call.

Size Price Time What it is
Small $5,000 to $8,000 2 to 4 weeks One workflow, one or two systems, built in tools you already own
Standard $9,000 to $15,000 4 to 6 weeks One workflow across two or three systems, or one with an AI step that a person reviews
Large $16,000 to $25,000 6 to 10 weeks Several workflows, or data that needs cleaning first

Anything bigger is split into phases, each with its own fixed price.

The stop condition. Before the build starts, the measure, the baseline, the target and the stop condition are written down. About 40% of the way in, the fix is tested with real users on real data. If it misses the stop condition, the project stops and you owe nothing beyond what has been invoiced to that point. That is how I keep a fixed price from becoming a reason to finish something that is not working.

Payment. Half at the start, half at go-live. Over $15,000: 40% at the start, 30% at the checkpoint, 30% at go-live.

Done means in production, documented, your people trained, the measure in place, and 30 days of support after go-live included. Everything is built in your own accounts, on your own subscriptions. You can revoke my access the day it is done.

After the project

Support plan Operations partner
Price $750 a month $1,800 a month
Time About 4 hours a month About 10 hours a month
Covers Monitoring and fixes for what I built, up to 3 hours of small changes, a 60-minute review each quarter with the numbers against the baseline, and your AI policy and approved-tools list kept current if you have them Everything in Support, plus one working day a month on the next item on the list, on site or remote
Term Month to month, 30 days notice Month to month, 30 days notice

Both are offered only after a finished project; there is nothing to support before one. Anything larger than a day’s work is quoted as a Fix project, so the monthly plan never turns into a cheap development contract.

AI Usage Review, $2,500

A second way in, for an owner whose question is “what are my people doing with AI, and what is it costing me”. Two weeks, up to 75 employees: a staff survey, an inventory of AI tools and what they cost, three short interviews, a one-page acceptable-use policy, an approved-tools list, and one recorded 60-minute team training. It ends with a project quote if a use worth building turned up, or the Support plan to keep the policy current. No Snapshot credit and no founding rate; it is a different door.

Founding rate

The first three clients get $1,000 off the step that follows the Snapshot: the Roadmap at $3,500, or $1,000 off the first Fix project. In exchange I ask for permission to use anonymized before-and-after numbers, one reference call, case study rights (anonymized is fine), and a Google review at go-live. I will say on the call how many of the three slots are left.

Credits, in one paragraph

There is one credit: the Snapshot fee ($950 or $1,500) comes off a Roadmap or a Fix project signed within 30 days of the memo, and the date is printed on the memo. It stacks with the founding rate. There are no other credits, no countdowns, and prices do not go up on Friday.

Where AI fits in the price

Every fix in a Snapshot memo or a Roadmap carries its rung on the ladder (eliminate, simplify, automate, augment, agent) and a written verdict on whether AI belongs in it. Most fixes will not need AI. The ones that do get built with a person reviewing the output, and the cost of the model sits on your own account where you can see it. I currently work as a vendor to a private-equity-backed portfolio company, rolling out AI with guidance from its PE partners, so the verdict comes from someone who ships this for a living, not from a brochure.

Who this is not for

Questions

Why no hourly rate?

Because an hourly rate makes you pay for my learning curve and makes me slower. A fixed price with a stop condition puts the scope risk on me and the decision in your hands.

Can I skip the Snapshot?

The Roadmap can be bought directly. A Fix project bought without a Snapshot starts with the same one-week look, and the fixed price is confirmed at the end of that week. Either way nothing is quoted on the free call.

What if the Snapshot finds nothing worth fixing?

Then the memo says “do nothing” and names the one thing to watch. You still get the memo, and if it was not worth $950 you owe nothing.

What does “stop condition” mean in practice?

Before the build, you and I write down what the fix has to do by the checkpoint, in numbers: for example, 90% of new leads assigned within 10 minutes with no duplicates over two weeks. If the test with real users misses it, the project stops.

Do you work on site?

Yes, in Northeast Ohio, and the Roadmap includes a half-day on site. Everything else works over video. Nearby metros by arrangement.

A note from me

I have spent a decade inside tech startups, close to the operating detail, including two startup exits. I currently work as a vendor to a private-equity-backed portfolio company, rolling out AI with guidance from its PE partners. The prices above are what one careful person charges to do the work properly, and the first three clients get them at a discount because I am building a track record I can show. More about me.
