The Workflow Snapshot is the first paid step with LeverOps. I follow one workflow in your business from start to finish, with you and the person who actually does it, and hand you a short memo: the three biggest fixes with hours and dollars on each, what you can fix yourself, and a fixed price for the top one. $950, one week, and the full amount comes off the next step.

## Quick facts

| | |
|---|---|
| Price | $950, invoiced after the working session |
| Time | One week from the session to the memo walkthrough |
| Scope | One workflow: the one that hurts most, chosen on the free call |
| You provide | 90 minutes with you and one person who does the work; one real item to follow (a lead, an order, a quote, an invoice) |
| You receive | A 2 to 3 page memo and a 30-minute walkthrough |
| Guarantee | If the memo was not worth $950, say so and owe nothing |
| Credit | 100% of the $950 toward an Operations Roadmap or a Fix project signed within 30 days of the memo |

## Who it is for

An owner or manager at a business doing roughly $1M to $10M a year who can name one piece of work that has become slower, more manual or less reliable than it should be, and who wants a priced answer before deciding anything bigger.

## Who it is not for

- A business whose problem is one person's inbox or calendar. A per-person AI setup from a local provider is the cheaper buy.
- A company that already knows exactly what it wants built and only wants a price. Say so on the call and the first week of the project does this work instead.
- Anyone who wants a report to sit on. The memo ends with a quote and a date, and it is written to be acted on.

## What happens

1. **The free call, 30 minutes.** You describe the work that hurts. If a Snapshot fits, I say so, you pick the workflow, and the session gets booked.
2. **The working session, 90 minutes, day 1 or 2.** By video, or in person in Northeast Ohio. You, me, and one person who does the work. One real item is followed through every step: who touches it, which system it goes into, where it waits, what gets re-typed, what the workaround is when something goes wrong.
3. **Analysis, days 2 to 5.** I turn the session into the workflow as it actually runs, put your own numbers on each step (your hours, your loaded cost, your volume), and work out the three fixes worth the most.
4. **The memo and walkthrough, by day 7.** You get the memo first, then 30 minutes to go through it. The last page is a fixed-price quote for the top fix, with the credit and its date printed on it.

## What the memo contains

- The workflow as it runs today, in one page, including the parts that are not in anyone's official process.
- The three biggest fixes, each with the hours and dollars it is worth a year, in your numbers, and its rung on the ladder: eliminate, simplify, automate, augment, or agent.
- A written verdict on each fix about whether AI belongs in it. Most of the time it does not, and the memo says why.
- Which of the three you can do yourself, with enough detail to do it.
- A fixed price and timeline for the top fix, or the Operations Roadmap proposal if the session showed the problem is bigger than one workflow.
- A plain answer to the question you are really asking: is this worth paying someone to fix.

## What it costs, and what you get back

$950, invoiced after the session, no card on file. If you sign a Roadmap or a Fix project within 30 days of the memo, the $950 comes off that price. If the memo was not useful, tell me and you owe nothing; I would rather lose $950 than have you pay for something you did not value.

The arithmetic for the fixes uses your figures, not industry statistics. If you want a feel for the method before the call, the [manual work cost calculator](/tools/manual-work-cost-calculator/) does the same sum in public.

## What happens after

Most clients go straight from the memo to a Fix project: a fixed price, $5,000 to $25,000 depending on size, with the measure and the stop condition agreed before the build starts. A company where the Snapshot shows several workflows breaking at once usually goes to the Operations Roadmap first. Both are on the [pricing page](/pricing/). Some clients take the memo and do the fix themselves. That is a fine outcome and the memo is written to allow it.

## An illustrative example

A 22-person distributor picks "quotes" as the workflow. In the session, one quote turns out to pass through an inbox, a spreadsheet, the CRM and the accounting system, with the customer's details typed three times and the quote waiting a day for the owner's approval of a standard discount. The memo prices three fixes: a discount rule that lets standard quotes go out without the owner (eliminate, about 3 hours a week of the owner's time), one entry of customer details that flows to the other two systems (automate, about 4 hours a week of admin time), and an AI draft of the quote cover note from the CRM record (augment, about an hour a week, and the memo says to do it last or not at all). The top fix is quoted as a Small project at $6,500. This is an illustration, not a client result.

## Questions

### Why is it paid?

A paid week ends in a written document with a price on it. A free call ends in a conversation. You are paying for the memo, not for my time, and the memo is yours whatever you decide.

### Can I have more than one workflow looked at?

Yes. Three workflows is $1,500 and takes two weeks, with the same memo for each. Companies above about 25 people usually take this size, because the work that hurts rarely sits in one place. Five or more is the Operations Roadmap, which scores them against each other.

### Why start with one workflow?

Because one workflow followed properly is worth more than six described from memory. If the session shows that the real problem crosses several workflows, the memo proposes the Roadmap, which looks at 4 to 6.

### Can the session be in person?

Yes, anywhere in Northeast Ohio, at no extra cost. Nearby metros by arrangement. Video is the default and works fine.

### What do you need access to?

Nothing before the session beyond the 90 minutes and one real example. If a read-only export from your CRM or accounting system would sharpen the numbers, I will ask for it after a mutual NDA, and only read it.

### Do you take a card?

Not yet. The Snapshot is invoiced after the session and paid by bank transfer or check.

## A note from me

I have spent a decade inside tech startups, close to the operating detail, including two startup exits. I currently work as a vendor to a private-equity-backed portfolio company, rolling out AI with guidance from its PE partners. The Snapshot is the way I would want to be sold to: a small, priced step, a written answer, and no pressure to buy the next one.

[Book a free operations review](/book/) to pick the workflow. If you are already sure, say so in the booking note and the call is spent booking the session instead.
